First steps
Homepage
On the startup screen you'll find your name and besides it a link called edit (
), which leads you to your setup area. Below you are able manage yout self-created categories and texts. To change the order of these categories or texts, simply click on an entry and drag it to a new position.

Change personal data as well as fonts and colours of your Pholio website here (
). In case you want to change your password, please fill out the three fields and send away the form. The first field requires your old password and the two following fields require your new one.
Categories
To add a new category, simply choose create category (
). Each category requires its own name. You can add an optional description if you like. In case you want a category to appear on your public Pholio website, please click the corresponding box (
).
So called private categories enable you to show certain pictures to selected people only. To make a category a private one, choose the corresponding box in the category's settings (
). Now that category no longer belongs to your public portfolio. You can only access it via its own name. Here's an example of how it works: If you named your private category secretly, it can be viewed at http://www.your-name.com/secretly. It's as easy as that!
To load photos onto your Pholio website, choose a category on your start page by clicking on view (
) next to the category title. You will then see a complete overview of all pictures in that category. To upload pictures, click on add photo (). Thumbnails are only needed if you would like it to use a different picture as the original photo. It will otherwise be generated automatically. Please note that pictures will only be shown on your Pholio website if the button show photo has been activated.
To sort pictures, simply drag them to a new position.
Texts
Texts can be added like categories (). Choose show text to publish any text on your Pholio website. Please note: Texts must have a title to be published.
Pholio automatically recognizes email and Internet adresses and converts them into clickable links.

When all of your changes have been made, click on the Logout button for security reasons.
Requirements
To enter the password protected Pholio administration area, you'll need one of the following browsers in a current version: Microsoft Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari.
To view your public portfolio website you need any browser with a current Flash plugin.
